My commitment issues are just laid out for the entire blog world to see. I can't even remember the last time I wrote. School and hurricanes and mental breakdowns have been a bit of a distraction.
School being the cause of the mental breakdowns. At first I cried almost everyday, it's more of a weekly thing now! No need for a pity party, I'm always a hot mess. Being a teacher is the hardest thing I've ever done, and mainly the only thing. So I don't have much to compare it to, but I think I'm on the right track. Being responsible for 26 five year olds, lessons, grouping, scores and mounds of paperwork is overwhelming.
I couldn't picture myself doing anything else with my life though. And a hug or a brilliant response from a child makes all the stress dissolve for a moment!
On the Hurricane note, I'm a little famous now! Rhonda Faye swept Louisiana with her updates of Hurricane Isaac. So fun to do, and I'm
glad to have brought laughter in a time of stress.
I have officially entered adulthood, I received my first pay check! My phone keeps notifying me that I have more than 500 dollars, I think it's freaking out. It's use to only having $6! I love it, I've bought so many useless things already.
I know I should be saving but, YOLO right?
