Due to my participation in weekend activities, I can't even remember what happened on Friday. I remember being glad it was over though! The weekend was extremely fun and much needed!
Today I didn't get to be with my nuggets. I have a two day training about Science, which while fun, seems totally impractical. Maybe tomorrow will change my thinking! I came back to my class room after the training to find 3 nuggets on black, the lowest on the pin chart, 1 on red and 3 on blue. I'm very excited about the blues and unsurprised by the blacks and reds. I also found one of my students in the office. My poor substitute! She's not coming back tomorrow because she felt she was getting sick and couldn't deal with my class with no voice.
So tomorrow they will have someone new to "entertain". This week will be stressful, testing, testing and more testing. Which seems impossible to get done on time. Formal observations are coming up and I can't stop having day-mares about them. Ex. Going deaf mid-lesson, a child starting to speak a different language, parents walking in and yelling. I sense an emotional break down in the near future.
For now, I'll sit on my teacher soulmate's couch, doing school work and laughing at each other!
