5 Reasons I Hate Math

I'll need you to read this in your best Lindsay Lohan voice because that's what I sound like right now. You would think I spent the last 24 years of my life smoking a pack a day and drinking Wild Turkey straight from the bottle. I think it's a mixture of sickness and the amout of effort it took to try to make my nuggets do math today.
Oh, my sweet 6 lb 8oz baby Jesus wrapped in swaddling clothes, my nuggets just couldn't get it today. It was ways to make 5, because that's a logical lesson for the 3rd week of school for 5 year olds. I literally broke out, teaching actually made my body produce pimples in a 45 minuet period. The concept we're tryin to teach is definitely confusing, but try adding 25 5 year olds who can't seem to follow a simple direction to the equation...see what I did there? I threw a math word on there, BRILLIANT!
I'm sure every other kindergarten teacher who did this lesson today is feeling the same way I am! There's got to be some trick, I'm just unaware of it at the moment! Jesus take the wheel!
In ELA and Social Living we're learning about families, and I've got to say I'm overly blessed to have such a wonderful work family that can make me laugh when I could cry!

Reasons Why I Hate Math:
1. It's so hard! To teach, to figure out, everything.
2. Numbers, ewwwww.
3. I have not one fond memory involving Math.
4. Google can answer that question for you!
5. THE LIMIT DOESN'T EXISIT! (Google it!)
