Cheese Balls

There are just some days when you have to lay in your coworkers classroom, eat cheese balls and drink apple juice from a Sponge Bob cup. Yesterday was that day! It's only a 4 day week, but it isn't going by any faster.
There was the meeting that had 4 people giving information simotsnously, the two parent phone calls, an epic tantrum, the missed bus and the cheese balls. (Those cheese balls were amazing!)
I'm trying to be awesome create this flawless station rotation that'll give my kids a more efficient time at each station, but so far it's a fail! We're currently just practicing walking, sitting down and rotating from station to station. I thought maybe I forgot I was Ariel and sold my voice to the Sea Witch to become human because it was like I wasn't even talking.
The start and the end of the year are always the craziest no doubt, but I'm thinking that the start is just the pits! You have 25 untrained nuggets who want to run around, pick up their friend and then give a warrior cry at the top of their lungs on one hand. Then on the other hand you have mounds of paper work, lessons plans, PLC's, PGP's SLT's, IEP's, ELL reports, modifications, interventions and class shirt order forms! Sheesh, I'm exhausted from just typing that, good thing I'm laying down!
Besides all of that, I get to hang out with a bunch of 5 year olds who are excited about learning, and that is pretty legit! I'm trying to take the things I learned over the past two years and use them to my advantage this year. I have definitely grown, but I still have a long way to go to reach Mrs. Peaches status!
