Not that today didn't present itself the challenges: The constipated child who threw themselves on the ground while screaming "I CAN'T POO!". This is my area of expertise, I don't have this issue too often in my life, but I'd say it's a totally apporpriate reaction to the given situation.
There was the magic of the highlighter. I'll admit that I'm totally obsessed with highlighters, they actually bring me joy, but today they were my enemy. After using highlighter on 24 progress reports so my parents could clearly see, I threw all of them on the copy machine not thinking. That magical ink doesn't show up on te copy machine, a trick I know and love. But that meant going back and re-highlighting information for my own copy. Such a face palm moment.
Oh and at the end of the day is there anything you want more than a nice booger on your keyboard. Yes, a green slimy booger sat there waiting for me to find! Seriously? There are literally boxes of tissues everywhere! Gahhh!
I was excited though when I was going to put a nugget and his sister in the car in the afternoon and he turned to her and said "Hey guess what I did today, I learned the letter C" which is what I did with him at naptime! I'm glad something stuck!
